Super Junior M is a new group formed from the popular Korean boy band, Super Junior. It’s one of the three sub-groups of Super Junior and is formed to tap the vast Chinese music market in China. In fact, the ‘M’ in the group name stands for Mandarin which will be the main language for their songs. This boy band consists of Super Junior members Han Geng, Si Won, Dong Hae, Ryeo Wook and Kyu Hyun, with two Chinese newcomers, Henry from Canada and Zhou Mi from China. U, a Mandarin remake of Super Junior’s 2006 single of the same title, is their first single and was released earlier this month on 8th April 2008. This Mandarin version contains heavier bass instruments, more hip hop and extra music bridges including a solo violin segment. Here’s the music video [MV] of Super Junior M’s U:
