Dream On or Meng Jian is the debut album for Stanly Xu Ren Jie who is one of the finalists in the first season of One Million Star. As with the earlier 2 EPs, this one also contains 4 songs. It is of no coincidence as all of them are signed by HIM company whose artistes include S.H.E and Fahrenheit. The success of these EPs are essential to the 3 of them to at least sustain their popularity until the release of their full-length studio album as more new singers are emerging from the new seasons of the singing competition. Genie Zhuo Wen Xuan has released her new and 4th album, My Favorite Kind Of Geniie or Chao Ji Xi Huan, following the release of her last album, Oxygen Of Happiness or Xing Fu Yang Qi, a year ago. This album contains 10 songs including 2 songs written by Genie Zhuo herself which are Extremely Fond Of or Chao Ji Xi Huan and Daring On My Own or Yi Ge Ren Yong Gan. She has always managed to have at least 2 very good songs in each of her previous albums and I really like her last single, The Rainbow That Never Disappears or Yong Bu Xiao Shi De Cai Hong. Hopefully, Genie Zhuo Wen Xuan can at least maintain the quality of her music after becoming an actress…

Rainie Yang Cheng Lin has released a new album, Not Yet A Woman or Ban Shu Xuan Yan, together with a new, more mature image. This album contains a total of 10 songs including Take Me Away or Dai Wo Zou which is the theme song of TV drama series Miss No Good. Miss No Good is her latest idol drama and it also starred Wilber Pan Wei Bo. Although this album, Not Yet A Woman, has the theme of ‘half mature’, I hope it will not be ‘half there’ with songs that are ‘half good’. I’m sure all of us would like Rainie Yang Cheng Lin to leave us Que Yang and gasping for breath with her new songs…  :lol:

After 12 months, Hotcha finally released their second album, Sexy Funny Cool, which has a more tasteful cover and better selection of songs compared to their debut album. Sexy Funny Cool has a total of 8 songs, 1 more than the previous album, and it also has a duet, Burning Bore, La La La or Huo Re Men Gun La La La, with I Love You Boyz. This time, the cover reminds me of another female group, S.H.E, from Taiwan as it is oozing with playfulness and youthfulness while the cover of their first album seemed to be using their sex appeals as the selling point. However, Hotcha is nothing compared to Freeze when it comes to using cleavages and skins to attract attention from the gullible young male teenagers…
