The Forbidden Kingdom, the new adventure movie which boasts the collaboration of Asia’s two biggest action stars, Jackie Chan and Jet Li, is currently airing in most Asian countries. Its theme songs are Heroes or Ying Xiong and Forecast or Yu Gan. Jane Zhang Liang Ying of Super Girl fame sings Ying Xiong while Nicky Lee Jiu Je and Li Bing Bing sing Yu Gan. Li Bing Bing plays the evil white-haired assassin in the movie. The duet, Yu Gan between Nicky Lee and Li Bing Bing is surprisingly good and I find it better than Jane Zhang’s Ying Xiong. The new adventure movie, The Forbidden Kingdom, will start to be screened today in most Asian countries. Hence, movie buffs [or particularly Crystal Liu fans] will get the chance to watch Jackie Chan and Jet Li kicking their asses for the very first time starting from today! I am one of the luckier ones who got to watch this movie a day earlier because I was given a chance to attend the press screening of The Forbidden Kung Fu. The Forbidden Kingdom or King of Kungfu is an upcoming adventure movie starring the two biggest action stars from Asia at the moment, Jackie Chan and Jet Li. This movie is the first collaboration [and most probably the last] between the two martial arts veterans with Corey Yuen Woo Ping of The Matrix fame as the action choreographer. It also stars the beautiful Crystal Liu Yi Fei, a Chinese actress and singer who had starred in many popular wuxia or period kungfu dramas. Here’s the synopsis of the movie:
