I’m currently updating this blog to the latest software version and a totally new design with a dark theme. I’ll also add various features to this blog in the next 1 or 2 days. When you try to open folders with transparent icon and shortcut symbol in Windows Vista, you will get an ‘Access Denied’ error. This is because these are junctions. Junctions have shortcut-like function in silently redirecting programs that access them to their Windows Vista equivalent. You can solve this problem by opening the actual folders in their respective new location in Windows Vista.

After a 2-month long hiatus, GinnWei[dot]Private is now known as GinnWei [dot] Blog and currently in beta 2 version with its own registered domain, www.ginnwei.com. The bad news: After 5 months, this blog is still in beta version. The good news: The final version 1.0 will be ready in the next few days. WORM_SILLYFDC.B is a low-risk worm with medium damage and distribution potentials. This worm copies itself into removable drives and runs on Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, and Server 2003.
