Huang Yida - Dedicated To Myself

Singaporean Huang Yida or Huang Yi Da has released his 4th album, Dedicated To Myself or Xie Gei Zi Ji De Ge. He released his debut album, Undefinable or Wu Fa Ding Yi, in 2004 after graduating from the music school of the famous Lee Wei Song. This album contains 10 songs including the single of the same title, Xie Gei Zi Ji De Ge, and Right Here or Zai Zhe Li, a song written by Ella from S.H.E. Another interesting song in Dedicated To Myself is I’m YiDA, a 10-minute song in which Huang Yida had spent a whole year on its arrangements. I always find his songs refreshing as with songs from Shin as they are not ‘cheesy’ and ‘generic’ like most of the songs out there [read: S.H.E. and Lollipop]. Hopefully, this album won’t disappoint his fans [including me] and first-time listeners of his songs.
