Joey Yung - In Motion

The last one week has been a quiet one with no release of new major albums by the established singers with the exception of Fish Leong [even then, it only contains a few new songs]. Joey Yung Jo Yee or Rong Zu Er who released her last Cantonese, Glow, less than a year ago has come back with a new Cantonese album, In Motion. In Motion is actually her second album in 2008 following the release of Star Light Concert 2008, a live recording of songs performed in her concert, at the end of May. This album contains a total of 10 tracks of which all are new songs and in Cantonese. As I have yet to listen to this album, I don’t know whether it’s good enough for you to part your hard-earned money for it but I’m a bit skeptical as Joey Yung has been busy with her concert and performances for the recently-concluded Beijing Olympic 2008. However, I do hope I’m wrong on this one…P.S. I didn’t make any new posts for the last few days as I was really really busy and this blog had to take a backseat. Anyway, I don’t think you miss any important updates in the Chinese music scene because there was no major release.
