Fish Leong - Today Is Our Valentine’s Day

Fish Leong or Liang Jing Ru has released a new album, Today Is Our Valentine’s Day or Jin Tian Qing Ren Jie, which is her first album containing live recordings of songs performed in her own concert. This album contains a total of 14 tracks with 5 of them being new songs including the single of the same title, Today Is Our Valentine’s Day or Jin Tian Qing Ren Jie. Although I’m not a fan of live-recorded songs, I found myself enjoying them more than the new songs because Fish Leong did the covers of popular songs by other singers such as Love Is Simple or Ai Hen Jian Dan by David Tao Zhe and Be Contented or Zhi Zu by MayDay. There is also one medley of past hits from various singers. The new songs may not be good enough by her standard but the good choices other songs in this album make a very tempting buy.
