Various Artists - EMI 2008 Olympic Games

This is another album released in conjunction with this year’s Beijing Olympic 2008 which is currently at Day 2 of competition. Thus, it’s released at the same day as the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympic 2008. EMI 2008 Olympic Games contains only 8 songs and as suggested by the title, all the songs are by EMI artists. Although the number of songs is nothing compared to that of the official album, there are no repetitions or ‘alternative versions’ of the same songs. The singers are Jolin Tsai, David Tao Zhe, Hu Yan Bin, Hua Er Yue Dui, Xu Wei, Xiong Di Lian and even Michael Learns To Rock [MLTR]! Personally, the involvement of MLTR alone is a reason good enough for me to declare my support for this album.
