Tanya Chua - Tacit Understanding [New + Best Collection]

This compilation album, Tacit Understanding [New + Best Collection], from Tanya Chua is released on the same day as My Space, another new album from her. Although both albums contain new songs from Tanya Chua, I feel that this album will sell better than the other one as it contains some of her past hits. The fact that she was not so well-known before her big wins in the 19th Golden Melody Awards means that many Chinese music fans will be eager to get their hands on some of her best songs. However, this one is a letdown for a compilation album because some of her most well-known hits such as Stranger or Mo Shen Ren, Beautiful Love and Yuan Dian, a duet with Stephanie Sun Yanzi are not included.

Fraid you got the fact wrong.
Tacit Understanding was released by Universal Music in 2001, at the end of her contract with the company, hence featuring songs from 1997 to 2001.
Her latest best hit album is T-Time released in 2006, which is a mixture of all her music from 1997 to 2006, Universal and Warner Music effort.
My Space however is by AsiaMuse her current label, and is a live concert plus 3 demos of a concert in Beijing, invited by Li Zhong Sheng da ge, as his star performance at his pub. It’s a closed event with 40 members of media and musicians only. It was released due to her recent concert in taiwan which have not planned for DVD released, so AsiaMuse released the audio CD of another concert instead.
PS:
Tanya Chua reached her first peak of fame in 2006 when she first received the Taiwan GMA best female singer for her album amphibian, the 19th GMA was a second time, with the producer honor too. Hence T-Time was said to be released at the good timing for people to get familiar with the singersongwriter.
