Fan Ren - Fanren And Friends

Fan Ren is a veteran group from Taiwan which comprises of Yuan Wei Ren and Mo Fan [Fan + Ren, get it?]. One of them, Yuan Wei Ren is a famous songwriter and producer who has written many hit songs for other singers over the last 2 decades. He is also one of the judges in the very popular Taiwan singing contest One Million Star which has produced some of the most talked-about singers at the moment such as Aska Yang and Afalean Lu Xue Rui. Fanren And Friends is actually their 20th anniversary album after they separated more than 13 years ago and it contains a total of 10 tracks. In this album, they made new recording of their own hit songs and other hit songs written by them for other artists. Thus, there are duets with both new and veteran singers such as S.H.E., Phil Chang, Rene Liu, Qi Qin and Chris Yu. Personally, I feel that they have made the right move to include those duets because they are definitely the biggest selling-point of this album.
