She had acted in some of the most popular Korean TV drama series such as Successful Story of a Bright Girl and My Love Patzzi. She also had released a total of 6 Korean albums. After became popular, she started to act in Chinese series such as The Mischievous Princess and Good Morning Shanghai while releasing Mandarin albums at the same time. Jang Nara managed to attract Chinese fans and held concerts in China. She also appeared in concerts in other countries such as Malaysia.
