Kenji Wu Ke Qun made his debut in 2000 with the album, Tomorrow, Alone, which was not well-received. However, it gave him the chances to act in several idol dramas such as Peach Girl before releasing another album again in 2004. This time, the self-titled album, Wu Ke Qun, was well-received and one of the singles, Wu Ke Qun, became a hit. In this song, Kenji Wu impersonated the voice and singing style of various other singers such as A-Do, Wang Lee Hom, David Tao Zhe, Jay Chou, Fei Yu Ching, Emil Chau and Shins. Wei Ni Xie Shi or Poems For You is his fifth album and contains 10 new songs.
