Ivana Wong - First Mandarin Album
December 9th, 2007 | Written by Ginn Wei | Topic: Entertainment, Music
Ivana Wong Yuen Chi burst into the Chinese entertainment scene in 2005 by singing I Am Really Hurt or Wo Zhen De Shou Shang Le with Jacky Cheung in a live performance. I Am Really Hurt is composed by Ivana Wong herself for Jacky Cheung. Although she started her music career by writing a Mandarin song and had released a total of 4 Cantonese albums, she had never released a full Mandarin album. Another interesting thing is her current name, Wong Yuen Chi, is not her original name. Her original name before the age of 5 is Wong Oi Chi, which is pronounced as the lethal disease, AIDS, in Cantonese.
