Access Denied Error In Vista
September 29th, 2007 | Written by Ginn Wei | Topic: Software, Technology
When you try to open folders with transparent icon and shortcut symbol in Windows Vista, you will get an ‘Access Denied’ error. This is because these are junctions. Junctions have shortcut-like function in silently redirecting programs that access them to their Windows Vista equivalent. You can solve this problem by opening the actual folders in their respective new location in Windows Vista. For a list of folders that have been moved in Windows Vista and their new location, you can read this article.

hahaha… thanks for the great info.
I’ve seen in your recent posts, you’ve been sticking to music previews for the masses. But there are still some of us who also appreciate your technology posts. Keep up the good work!

@ Mimmie
Thanks for your support. Like you, I’m also a music lover and technology enthusiast. However, I was very busy for the last one month and couldn’t find the time to write on technology news but rest assured that I will resume writing on it once I’ve the time.
Just for your information, I’m planning a major makeover for this site sometime next month.
